John Stephen Jenkins, Sr.
Steve Jenkins has been practicing law for just over 50 years. He started practice in the Atlanta area prior to moving his family to Elberton in 1978. He has practiced in all areas of the law, as both an attorney and judge, so has a comprehensive understanding of the law across most legal areas.
Charles James "Jim" Jenkins II
Jim Jenkins has practiced law for just over 10 years, and has spent the past 5 years focusing primarily on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Jim has a comprehensive knowledge of the law, having spent a year in nothing but real estate closings, and several years in a general practice.
Christopher Dyal
Chris Dyal has practiced law for about 10 years. Chris is licensed in both Georgia and Florida and has spent a great deal of time in criminal trial practice. He served as a prosecutor in the State of Florida prior to returning to Georgia to a private practice in general civil and criminal litigation. Chris has also recently been appointed to city court judge in Franklin County, GA.
Cody Whetsel
Cody Whetsel has practiced law for just over 8 years. He has significant experience in the areas of juvenile law, contracts, real estate, and estate planning. Cody is a licensed attorney in Georgia and South Carolina.
Megan L. Whetsel
Megan Whetsel went to law school at the University of Georgia, and was admitted to the Georgia Bar in December of 2013. Since her admission, she has practiced law in many regions throughout Georgia. She has significant experience in the areas of juvenile law and child custody proceedings. She is also a registered mediator, including domestic relations mediation.
Andretta Ligé
Andretta is a wife, mother, and lover of humanity. She has been a paralegal at Dyal Jenkins, P.C., for the past 6 years, and has 23 years of experience as a real estate paralegal. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Ohio Christian University and is currently enrolled in graduate school at Mercer University, pursuing an MS in Mental Health Counseling.
Kristen Partlow Simpson
Kristen is a Paralegal who serves in our Elberton office location. She is a wife and proud mother of three children. She has obtained both a Bachelors Degree in Pre-Law as well as a Paralegal Certificate. She began at Dyal Jenkins, P.C. as a Paralegal Intern in January of 2021 and was offered a full time Paralegal position in April 2021. Kristen started as a full time Paralegal in May 2021.
Lori Seymore
Lori, a native of Elbert County, is a Legal Assistant and the first point of contact in our Elberton office. With more than 30 years combined experience in Customer Service and Office Administration (5 of which are in law firms), along with her passion for helping others, Lori stops at nothing to make all clients feel at home with the Dyal Jenkins family and at ease, keeping all information confidential and organized.
